Audi extends EV portfolio with e-Tron GT and RS e-Tron GT priced at Rs. 1.79 crore, and Rs. 2.04 crore respectively. Both cars are electric sports cars. The Audi e-Tron GT can churn out 390 kW, and can do a 0-100 sprint in 4.1 seconds. The RS e-Tron GT churns out a healthier 475 kW, and does a 0-100 sprint in 3.3 seconds. The characteristics of the car can be altered via Adaptive Air suspension. The Audi RS e-Tron GT uses an electronically controlled differential lock on the rear axle for variable distribution of drive torque at the rear.
Under DC, both the e-Tron GT and the RS e-Tron GT can be charged from 5% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes. Both cars get charging faps on either sides. Both cars feature a 83.7/93.4kWh Lithium-ion battery providing the range of 401 – 481 km for Audi RS e-tron GT and 388 – 500 km for Audi e-tron GT. The cars support up to 22 kW AC, and 270 kW DC.
The cars get Audi virtual cockpit and MMI touch with a display of 12.3 inches. The Audi RS e-Tron gets a 16-speaker, 710 watt Bang and Olufsen sound system as standard. The RS e-Tron come with Matrix LED headlights as standard, and the e-Tron GT gets LED headlights. Both cars come with Lane Departure Warning, and cruise control. Audi claims both electric supercars can give an approximate range of 450 km’s on full charge. With this Audi extends its EV portfolio by adding two electric supercars.
