by AatoMobil

Mini will launch its much awaited 2025 Mini Countryman SE ALL4. This will join the lineup as the Mini Cooper SE phases out. The yet to debut EV from Mini is available for reservations and deliveries of the same will commence from Autumn of 2024. The production of this model will be done in Leipzig, Germany. It will use the same platform used by BMW X1 and BMW iX1.

Expect this car to come equipped with 66.45 kilowatt hour battery and a dual motor, all-wheel drive powertrain that gives it a peak output of 230 kilowatts and 494 Nm of peak torque. It has a claimed 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. It gets a driving range of 433 km making it significantly better than 2024 Mini Cooper SE. Besides being bigger, it also houses a larger battery pack and it can recharge fro 10% to 80% state-of-charge in 30 minutes at 130 killowatts.

It comes at an introductory price of $45,200 and this means it is significantly pricier than Mini Cooper SE. Also, this particular EV will not enter the US market because it is entirely made up in China. This means if it has to enter the US, it will attract 100% tariffs. Being made in partnership with Great Wall Motors, the 2025 Mini Countryman SE ALL4, has a brother the Mini Countryman E which features the same battery but only houses one motor (150 kW).
