Also, there is a problem of battery disposal. Batteries in electric vehicles are almost 100% recyclable, but recycling them is not practiced widely making recycling of them hard. The good news is the recycling of batteries is being researched to recover precious materials and protect the ecosystem.

Though Sustainability and EVs have many outlooks in terms of green aspects and especially in the emission reductions during charging, the real process of charging surprisingly emphasizes that it will depend on how the processes improve battery production and recycling.
