Great Wall Motors to reveal an electric car and a hybrid vehicle in Europe next year

Great Wall Motors has announced that it will begin bookings for both cars in the later part of 2021. Great Wall Motors will launch its product first in Germany, and then in the rest of Europe. The company will soon launch its latest portfolio by 2022. Europe is currently the biggest market for electric vehicles, and GWM will look to make some profits there.

The company which is based in China said it will start accepting orders for the Coffee 01 plug-in SUV for the German market at the end of this year. Deliveries will initiate by the first quarter of 2022. Expect the SUV to have a range of 150 km’s and it will be sold under the WEY brand. It will soon look to spread across the continent.

The other car which is a compact electric city model will be sold under the ORA brand. Expect this EV to get a range of 400 km. The sale will commence in the first half of 2022. It will start accepting orders at the end of this year. Other Chinese electric manufacturers like – Nio Inc, will expect to grab the European market. Nio already opened a showroom in Norway. Norway is a huge market for EV’s. Xepeng and BYD already sell electric vehicles in Europe.
