Following the launches of the Bajaj Chetak and the Ather 450X, TVS launches its iQube electric scooter at a price of Rs. 1.08 lakh in Delhi

TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS iQube electric scooter in New Delhi. It is currently available only in a select few dealerships across New Delhi. It is available at an on-road price of Rs. 1,08,012 (after FAME II and Delhi state subsidy). This makes it the first scooter to be launched in Delhi after competitors – Bajaj Chetak and Ather 450X. The launch of the iQube electric scooter coincidentally occurs after the “Switch Delhi” initiative.

Dealerships in Delhi

TVS has finally brought its iQube electric scooter to select dealerships in Delhi. TVS is confident that it will scale to even greater heights with the launch of its iQube scooter in Delhi. The scooter carried a 4.4 kW (6 bhp) electric motor with a peak torque output of 140 Nm. The top speed of this scooter is 78 km/h when engaged in the Sport mode. The battery gets fully charged in 5 hours and has a maximum range of 75 km while at Eco mode. While at Sport mode the range drops down to 55 km.

The TVS iQube electric scooter also gets the next-generation TVS SmartXonnect platform. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity, advanced TFT instrument console, and dedicated TVS iQube app. Features like geofencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last parked location, and incoming call and text message alerts. The iQube also gets innovative features like Q-park assists, day and night display, regenerative braking, and LED headlights and taillights. The TVS iQube can be booked online, through the website, or at select dealerships with a booking amount of Rs. 5,000.

TVS is also offering its customers multiple charging options. A dedicated home charging solution can be availed via SmartXHome. It comes with Bluetooth Connectivity, live charging status and radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled security. Currently, seven charging locations are installed across different locations in the city. The company is also looking at developing a smart ecosystem in the city. They could be expanding the charging network with additional dealer partners.
